Argosy Wines
To date Argosy wines have all been of Marlborough origin and we have long and short term supply contracts for fruit from this and two other prominent South Island wine regions - Central Otago and Waipara. This enables us to also draw on fruit from these regions if our customers require such origins.

Argosy Sauvignon Blanc 09’ was batch blended using selected parcels of fruit from the Wairau and Awatere valleys by internationally renowned winemaker Alan McCorkindale. The style, whilst classically juicy, vibrant and fruit driven, also has a tangy mineral core. This balance makes the wine equally enjoyable on its own, or with seafood and white meat grills.

Argosy Pinot Noir 09’ was batch blended using selected parcels of fruit from the Wairau valley by internationally renowned winemaker Alan McCorkindale. Aged in the finest French oak, this Pinot is deep, rich and juicy, with a full colour and scented fruit supported by deliciously ripe, velvety tannins. This balance makes it equally at home with grilled white fish as roasted red meats and even game.
